Girls Summer Basketball Academy
Audience: Grades 4-9 (‘24-’25 School Year)
Focus: Training focused on basketball sports performance development, injury prevention and building strength, power & speed.
Schedule:
Sports Specific Training: 10:45am-11:45am Tuesday & Thursdays (runs June 11th-August 20th)
General Strength Training: Grades 4-6: 6:45pm Monday, Wednesday, 9:30am Friday
General Strength Training; Grades 7-9: 6:45pm Tuesday, Thursday, 10:45am Saturday
Development Tests:
Vertical Jump
Broad Jump
Lane Agility Test
20-Yard Dash (3/4 Court Sprint)
Cost: $199/month

Coach Liz Van Winkle runs this program. Liz’s resume includes 8 years as a Strength and Conditioning Career Coach, over 10 years coaching HS girl’s basketball, and 5 years coaching Youth Travel Basketball and is currently the Head JV Coach at Hilliard Davidson High School. Her passion is helping young women become strong, independent leaders and athletes, while also fostering a love for health and fitness along the way. She believes this will help them in their lives on and off the court, and has loved having an impact through the sport of basketball!
